Time Commitment: Minimum of 25 hours per week for 3 months
Compensation: Unpaid, but course credit allowed

We are an early-stage, pre-launch, fashion tech startup building the first rental platform for curated South Asian attire and accessories; think Rent the Runway meets global fashion. At RENTALYA, we partner with designers to provide the US consumer with access to high quality, fashionable pieces at an affordable, rental price point. About The Job

This is an opportunity to work directly with the founding team and engage firsthand with the growth stages of a startup. 

We are looking for someone who is super passionate about social media and the South Asian fashion space to help drive social engagement and build a strong community ahead of launch. The ideal candidate is someone who knows the ins and outs of all things social media and thrives on creating engaging content. 

What You’ll Do

  • Work directly with founders to build full social media content strategy and increase social media audience.
  • Create and deploy creative content across key social channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest & Twitter).
  • Collaborate with PR team to distribute media publications on social platforms.
  • Work with our Shopify developer to design and create blog page and content.
  • Develop a content calendar on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Analyze and report social activity and analytics to team.

About You

  • In-depth working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest & Twitter.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of content platforms influencers and social media trends.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Design background is a plus, but not required.
  • A high-energy, positive person who wants to make a difference on the founding team of a startup.
  • Passion for fashion, e-commerce, technology, and startups.
